Terms of Use
This translation is provided for information purposes only. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version of these Terms of Use shall prevail.
These terms govern the use of tararea.app, operated by Tararea (Veratis), Spain — contact: hola@tararea.app. By creating an account you accept them. They're written to be understood: if anything is unclear, just ask us.
1. The service
Tararea turns personal stories into songs generated with artificial intelligence, accompanied by a written story, a cover and a page to gift them. The result is unique to you, but as AI-generated content it may need adjustments — that's why you can listen to, redo and edit each part before gifting it.
2. Your account and acceptance of these terms
You need an account (email or Google) and must be at least 14 years old; to buy credits, you must be of legal age or have authorization. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You can delete your account from your profile: it's kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, and then everything is permanently deleted.
Creating an account means accepting these terms and the privacy policy. If you sign up with email, you confirm it by ticking the box on the form; if you sign in with your Google account (including one-tap sign-in), creating the account likewise constitutes your express acceptance of both documents, as indicated next to the sign-in button. We keep a record of the acceptance date.
3. Credits and payments
The service runs on prepaid credits purchased in packs (prices include taxes and are shown before you pay) through Stripe. Credits never expire, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for money. Every action shows its cost in credits before you run it, and you are only charged when the process completes successfully: if a generation fails, nothing is deducted.
4. Right of withdrawal
When you buy credits, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw and recover the amount of any unused credits by writing to us. However: each song is personalized digital content produced to your specifications — by clicking “Create my song” you request immediate execution and accept that, once generated, the credits spent on it are non-refundable (Articles 103(a) and 103(m) of the Spanish General Consumer and User Protection Act). If something goes wrong due to a technical problem on our side, we fix it or refund your credits — always.
5. Your content and ours
The stories and photos you provide are yours; you grant us a limited license to process them for the sole purpose of creating your gift. You warrant that you have the right to use what you upload (especially photos featuring other people). The generated content (song, story, cover) is for your personal use and for gifting; it does not include commercial exploitation (sale, monetization on platforms, advertising synchronization). If you need commercial use, write to us.
6. Prohibited content and uses
Tararea may not be used to create content that harms, defames, harasses or impersonates others, or content that is illegal. We reserve the right to take down public gifts that violate this and to suspend the accounts involved.
7. Public gifts and responsibility when sharing
Publishing a gift generates a public link (optionally password-protected). Whoever publishes decides what is shared and is responsible for it. You can unpublish it by deleting the memory, or protect it with a password at any time.
Sharing works through links: anyone who has the link (and the password, if you set one) can access the gift page and, depending on what you've enabled, listen to, read and download its contents (song, story, lyrics, booklet). Files are served through unguessable addresses, a mechanism equivalent to the “share via link” feature of common storage services.
You are solely responsible for who you share your links and passwords with. Once shared, recipients could keep downloaded files or pass the link or its contents on to others, which is beyond our control. Tararea accepts no liability for access, copies or distribution resulting from that voluntary sharing. If you lose control of a link, unpublish the gift or change its password from your account and access is cut off immediately.
8. Availability and warranties
We provide the service with professional diligence, but we depend on external AI providers: there may be occasional waits or generation failures (which are never charged). The service is provided “as is” within the limits allowed by law; nothing written here limits the rights granted to you by consumer protection regulations.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. As a consumer, any dispute may be brought before the courts of your place of residence. You may also turn to the consumer authorities of your region.
10. Changes
If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we'll notify you by email with reasonable notice. See also our privacy policy and our cookie policy. Last revised: July 2026.
